The reason this photo resonates is that just over a year ago the kind of man this young Scottish girl is trying to fend off was using similar weaponry to savagely murder other little girls in Southport.

It resonates because a LITTLE GIRL is braver than the "MEN" who lead her country and won't protect her. 

It also resonates because she is a child, and people are now seeing how scared our children are, and that young children are having to arm themselves for safety. No one wants their child to live in this kind of world. 

It’s the fear in her voice. The taunting of the man asking her to show the knife. It’s the jeans with holes in the knees. It’s her tiny waiflike appearance. She’s a little girl and she’s afraid. The fear in her eyes during the video, it's evident that's not the first time she was bothered. She didnt start walking armed without reason. It's obvious that she was abandoned by the men and the government of the UK.

You can be certain that this girl has been victimized by these bastards before AND betrayed by those who should have done something about it. Hence her desperate determination to protect her little sister all by herself. She knows she can count on no one else. Definitely not on the police who arrested HER! Absolutely fucking heartbreaking. No adults around to help her. She's been abandoned and left to her own devices.
